Description

The role

The Migration Business Analysis team plays a key role in delivering Standard Life’s ambitions, supporting change in an exciting and dynamic environment to innovate, improve customer experiences and help provide better financial futures. As part of the team, you will also have plenty of opportunities to support your own personal development along the way.

You will provide a comprehensive range of business analysis services to support our TTP3 Migration, bringing clarity to complex situations and using appropriate analysis techniques to define, agree, and document scope and requirements. You will produce a range of analysis artefacts, manage changes to scope and requirements, and ensure traceability throughout the lifecycle of your projects.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven Business Analyst experience within large-scale customer, policy or platform migration and transformation programmes, assessing impacts across data, processes, people, technology and operating models.
  • Strong requirements management experience across the full change lifecycle, from discovery and elicitation through design, testing, implementation and business readiness, including scope, traceability and change control.
  • Experience producing clear, high-quality Business Analysis artefacts, including business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, process maps, customer journeys, impact assessments, traceability matrices, business rules and data requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using techniques such as process modelling, stakeholder analysis, root-cause analysis and impact assessment to turn complex issues into pragmatic recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills, with experience leading workshops, building consensus, constructively challenging decisions and translating complex business and technical information for different audiences.
  • Ability to deliver effectively in a complex, regulated environment, managing competing priorities and dependencies across business, technology, suppliers and outsourced delivery partners; knowledge of financial services products or policy administration and a relevant Business Analysis qualification would be beneficial.
