Description

NATURE OF THE ROLE

This is a hands-on delivery role. Business Analysts on this programme write their own user stories, work the backlog daily and sit close to the configuration team. It is not an advisory, oversight or architecture position.

The team is being staffed with mid-level Business Analysts. Candidates whose recent experience is predominantly programme leadership, solution architecture or advisory consulting are unlikely to be a fit for these seats.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Elicit and document business requirements through workshops with lending, credit risk and operations stakeholders.
  • Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria, maintaining traceability from requirement through to test.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis against standard platform functionality, favouring configuration over customisation.
  • Map as-is and to-be lending processes, and identify the process change required to adopt the target platform.
  • Produce functional specifications and work directly with the configuration team on solution detail.
  • Contribute to data mapping requirements from legacy lending systems to the target data model.
  • Support integration requirements across upstream and downstream systems, including core banking, customer due diligence, collateral and document management.
  • Support UAT design and execution, triage defects and drive business sign-off.
  • Take part in backlog refinement, prioritisation and iteration planning.
  • Input to business readiness, training material and change impact assessment.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Mid-level Business Analyst, comfortable joining a live programme and working independently day to day. Indicatively four to eight years in a business analysis role.
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience — requirements and functional analysis on Salesforce implementations, with the confidence to work inside the platform rather than only around it.
  • Core delivery skills: user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog management, fit-gap analysis and UAT support.
  • Comfortable running and contributing to requirements workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • EU-based, and available for occasional travel to Austria.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience of a packaged cloud lending or loan origination platform built on Salesforce.
  • Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or Salesforce Industries.
  • Banking or financial services domain experience, particularly corporate or SME lending.
  • Salesforce certification — Administrator, Business Analyst or Platform App Builder.
  • Familiarity with corporate credit processes: credit assessment, approval workflow, collateral, covenants and annual review.
  • Agile delivery, process modelling and associated tooling.
