ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Marketing, Engineering, or other relevant field
  • Proven experience in developing market intelligence and synthesising strategic insights
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, reporting, and forecasting skills
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

Ideally you will have:

  • 2+ years working in in-house strategy or management consulting for one of the big 4 or boutique strategy consulting firms
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA or similar) with demonstrated experience in strategy or transformation within a consulting or OEM environment
  • Demonstrated experience working for large, complex multinational organisations
  • Demonstrated experience working within a continuous improvement framework
  • Regional or international exposure and/or experience
  • Experience with digital tools and data analytics platforms

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a forward-thinking and data-driven Strategy Analyst to join our Customer Support division based in Adelaide or Perth. This newly created position is critical in enabling strategic alignment, enhancing customer experience, and driving long-term aftermarket growth across Australia’s mining operations.
In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with operations, technical services, sales, and engineering teams to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on market intelligence, data analysis, and industry trends. You’ll also lead projects that improve service offerings, digital tools, and forecasting capabilities – directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

SKILLS AND DUTIES:

In this highly collaborative role with an immediate start:

  • Develop and deliver market intelligence reports to inform customer support strategy
  • Analyse industry trends and provide data-driven insights into equipment performance, current positioning, customer needs and areas of opportunity
  • Collaborate with business units to develop business cases to support prioritization of strategic initiatives
  • Support delivery and optimisation of strategic initiatives as required
  • Develop models to anticipate service demand in the context of evolving markets
  • Support the preparation of executive updates
