The Role & Key Responsibilities
The Role
We have an exciting Business Analysis career development opportunity in the Joint Surrey Police & Sussex Police Change Delivery Department to help us deliver our mission ‘Enabling Successful Change’.
This role will be primarily focussed on supporting the delivery of Phase Two of the Sussex Police Public Protection Review Programme, which aims to deliver a new Target Operating Model (TOM) for the department. Effective demand analysis for each of the teams, including the MASH, ViSOR and OCAT, will be key to designing a TOM that makes the best use of funding, technology, processes, estate and our staff to achieve the Force’s priorities. Benchmarking will also assist in identifying alternative models and good practise elsewhere in the country.
You may already be a Business Analyst or similar but applications will be considered from individuals who are able to demonstrate capability and have proven potential but as yet have little or no experience of performing a business analysis role or maybe already work in policing and are looking for a new career direction. There may be further opportunities on other programmes and at other locations in both Surrey and Sussex in future. We are open to secondments from internal candidates or partner agencies.
You will be provided with training to BCS Business Analysis Certification and beyond, as well as coached by a very supportive team to complete a portfolio leading to promotion to the next grade.
Key Responsibilities
Working under direction of the Project Manager and SRO, you will play a key part in shaping the programme.
