Description

Kennedys is looking for an experienced, proactive Business Analyst & critical thinker. Someone who is comfortable meeting & interviewing senior business stakeholders, discussing and recording their views & eliciting their requirements together with those of their subject matter experts; and where necessary, negotiating equitable requirements’ compromises between the stakeholders and the in-house & vendor system development teams.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of two years as a Business Analyst; ideally in legal and/or financial services but not essential
  • Creating and maintaining backlogs in MS Azure DevOps or similar
  • Current State (As-Is) & Future State (To-Be) process mapping, gap analysis and transformation / business change initiatives
  • Working within SDLC and Agile framework; contributing to ceremonies, maintaining the product backlog, producing, validating & maintaining high quality requirements
  • Experience of analysing and producing requirements for integration with 3rd party applications and services
  • Experience of analysing and producing requirements for Data migration
  • Leading workshops at all levels
  • Producing documentation and leading training sessions as part of implementation, adoption and retention
  • Experience of working with QA teams and producing and executing test plans
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Eliciting, validating & maintaining high quality requirements (catalogue & requirements documents)
  • Documenting & validating business process models in BPMN (via MS Visio)
  • Lead and undertake formal analysis and validation of requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems
  • Support Product Managers to chair user community feedback, share best practices and improve adoption
  • Lead scrum ceremonies in the absence of Product Owner or Scrum Master.
