Description Overview Tanaq Management Services (TMS) delivers professional, scientific, and technical services and information technology (IT) solutions to federal agencies in health, agriculture, technology, and other government services. About the Role We are seeking a data-driven Business Analyst to provide analytical and operational support to the DHA Office of Small Business Programs. The Business Analyst will be focusing on program performance measurement, reporting, and improvement initiatives. The analyst supports Mentor-Protégé Program activities, data analysis, communication efforts, and reporting deliverables to enable data-informed decision-making and compliance with DHA and DoD requirements. This is a hybrid remote position based in Falls Church, VA., that will require some onsite work at the customer’s location. Responsibilities Perform data collection, validation, and analysis to support project performance metrics, program execution, and reporting requirements. Utilize dashboards, visualizations, and analytical tools to track program goals, program achievements, and outreach effectiveness. Support the preparation of recurring deliverables Conduct research and needs assessments for program initiatives and draft policy and communication materials for web and print as directed. Collaborate with the Program Manager and government stakeholders to identify trends, recommend process improvements, and support strategic planning efforts. Maintain repositories to ensure data integrity and accessibility for Government review. Requirements Required Skills and Experience Minimum of three (3) years of relevant analytical or program support experience, preferably within a federal or DoD environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools such as Power BI. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Small Business Programs, federal acquisition processes, or public sector performance reporting is a plus. Active or ability to obtain Public Trust or equivalent DHA security clearance. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Education and Training Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Public Administration, or related field. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May need to lift 25 pounds regularly.
