Job Purpose The Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating client or internal business needs into clear, actionable system requirements that guide the technology team in developing effective and scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Requirement Analysis Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather detailed business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements. Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, and process-mapping sessions to capture use cases and workflows. Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. 2. Documentation & Translation Prepare clear documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories. Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications that can be easily understood by developers and engineers. Ensure alignment between the client’s expectations and the technical team’s understanding of deliverables. 3. Communication & Coordination Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and the technology team throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate regular meetings to track progress, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities. Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure project objectives are met within scope, time, and quality standards. 4. System & Solution Design Support Collaborate with solution architects and developers to design and validate system functionalities that meet business needs. Participate in system testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and validation to ensure deliverables align with requirements. Recommend process or system enhancements based on data-driven insights and user feedback. 5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track solution effectiveness post-deployment. Gather post-implementation feedback and identify areas for system optimization. Support ongoing improvement of internal analysis frameworks, tools, and documentation standards. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role bridging business and technical teams. Experience in software development environments, preferably in SaaS, localization, or enterprise systems. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in documenting business requirements and system workflows. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language. Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and system integrations is an advantage.
