Description

37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

Nuffield Health is the charity that’s building a healthier nation, one day at a time. From award-winning hospitals and leisure facilities to flagship community programmes – we’ll do whatever it takes to look after the UK’s wellbeing. It starts with passion and commitment to quality. It starts with you.
The Nuffield Health Electronic Patient Record (NEPR) programme has transformed the way we operate across many of Nuffield Health’s hospitals. At its core, we’ve implemented a new patient record system, TrakCare, which is now used by clinicians and staff throughout our hospitals. This system replaces outdated manual and paper-based processes with a more integrated, flexible, and patient-centred approach, supported by modern internet-enabled technology.
We are now seeking a Technical Business Analyst to assist with additional build, testing, and support of TrakCare patches and enhancements. This role will also support related activities in our Secondary and Diagnostics teams.
As a Technical Business Analyst you will use your technical expertise, particularly in data and clinical integrations, along with strong business analysis skills and experience in healthcare IT. The ideal candidate will focus on delivering effective solutions that meet both clinical and operational needs.
The Technical Business Analyst will work closely with clinical and IT teams to analyse user requirements and convert them into clear functional and technical specifications. As the primary technical liaison, the analyst will address data and integration issues, collaborating with internal and third-party vendors to ensure designs and interface mappings are accurate and meet requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Experience in a technical analysis role, covering the full change process: identifying, defining, and implementing IT enablers.
  • Significant experience in implementing or managing clinical information systems. · Solid understanding of HL7 messaging and related technologies.
  • A good understanding of integration patterns and their applications.
  • Experience in testing, including key phases of testing.
  • End-to-end experience in large/enterprise delivery activities.
  • Experience with system cutovers, migrations, and integrations.
  • Awareness of business and data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., requirements elicitation, process mapping, business process re-engineering).
