THE OPPORTUNITY

TECKpert’s client, a government agency in Florida, is undertaking a multi-year project to modernize its financial management systems. This initiative is critical to the continuity of their business operations and involves replacing existing accounting and cash management systems with a new solution. For this project, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in business process analysis and systems analysis to join our client’s remediation team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing and documenting the impact of new financial management solutions on critical business functions, processes, and computing assets. This role requires a professional who can work across multiple business units, coordinate with subject matter experts, and contribute to re-engineering efforts to align with standardized business process models and redeveloped interfaces.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Research and understand business processes and their inter-relationships in the department.
• Research and document impacts on agency business systems in relation to the implementation.
• Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with data migration and development teams.
• Create detailed use cases, business rules, and requirements.
• Develop Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts.
• Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards.
