OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

Nextest, a division of Teradyne, is seeking a Business Analyst in Costa Rica. In this role, you will apply your knowledge of PLM systems and NPI workflows to collaborate with Engineering, Planning, and cross-functional teams on BOM management, demand and supply plan validation, inventory coordination, and the transition from NPI to production. Additionally, you will generate exception reports, oversee PO processes, and document business workflows, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Leverage deep expertise in PLM systems and NPI processes to collaborate with Engineering and Planning teams on BOM structuring, leveling, and item attribute management.
  • Manage the mapping of forecasts, sales orders, and supply plans, and lead PO component management, expediting, de-expediting, canceling POs, and overseeing quarterly material disposition processes with cross-functional support.
  • Support the NPI to production transition, coordinate NPI inventory transfers to Contract Manufacturers (CM), and develop effective inventory management strategies.
  • Partner with IT to generate exception reports and ensure comprehensive documentation of business processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with proficiency in PLM, ERP, and reporting systems.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in
  • Product lifecycle management (design process, phase gate reviews, etc.)
