About the Role: The Business Analyst will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and the technical teams to ensure that business needs are accurately captured and translated into actionable requirements. The successful candidate will lead efforts in gathering and documenting detailed business requirements, conducting data mapping and cleansing activities, and supporting user acceptance testing to validate solutions. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. * Proven experience in business analysis within the business services industry. * Strong proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements. * Experience with gap analysis and business process modeling. * Familiarity with Microsoft Visio for creating process diagrams. * Hands-on experience with data mapping and data cleansing techniques. * Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing methodologies and execution. * Proficiency in using macros to automate repetitive tasks. Preferred Qualifications: * Professional certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis). * Experience working in Agile or Scrum project environments. * Advanced skills in data analytics tools or software. * Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role within business services. * Familiarity with SQL or other database querying languages. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements. * Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes and desired outcomes, recommending improvements. * Develop and maintain detailed process flows and diagrams using tools such as Microsoft Visio. * Conduct data mapping and data cleansing activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy for project deliverables. * Support the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business needs. * Utilize macros and other automation tools to streamline data analysis and reporting tasks. * Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to facilitate understanding and alignment on project goals. * Monitor project progress and assist in resolving issues related to business requirements and process changes. Skills: The required skills are applied daily to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Gathering business requirements involves engaging with stakeholders to understand their objectives and documenting these in clear, actionable formats.
