On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Trade Lifecycle, Reconciliation for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

BUSINESS ANALYST - TRADE LIFECYCLE, RECONCILIATION - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role involves working within a leading financial institution to manage the trade lifecycle and reconciliation processes. The Business Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate trade confirmations and addressing any discrepancies in a timely manner, while also supporting operational excellence and risk management initiatives.

BUSINESS ANALYST - TRADE LIFECYCLE, RECONCILIATION - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Banking/Financial Industry experience
  • Trade lifecycle and reconciliation expertise
  • 2 years of Advanced Excel skills
  • 2 years of Python experience
  • Advanced knowledge of business analysis
  • Demonstrated stakeholder/relationship management skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills

BUSINESS ANALYST - TRADE LIFECYCLE, RECONCILIATION – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with Anti-Money Laundering processes
  • Familiarity with Business Continuity Management
  • Prior experience in a similar financial institution
  • Experience in change management projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
  • Communicate with the front, middle office, and clients to confirm incoming trades of precious metals
  • Address discrepancies with the front and middle office promptly
  • Execute complex transactions accurately and in line with established guidelines
  • Identify and investigate exceptions arising from transactions
  • Act as a project lead/subject matter expert for small-scale projects
  • Coordinate with partners on key initiatives
  • Provide thorough analysis of operational issues and make recommendations
  • Support partners with inbound and outbound requests
  • Contribute to reporting and maintain customer relationships
