Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst with Trade Operations experience to lead the implementation of our new Trade Finance System. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Trade Finance System project, including gathering and documenting business requirements, reviewing functional specifications, preparing and executing UAT test scripts, and supporting implementation and post-production activities. UAT Support: Drive UAT planning and execution, ensuring test cases reflect real-world trade operations scenarios and validating system functionality against business needs. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Trade Operations, Product, Technology, and Compliance teams to ensure system requirements align with operational workflows and regulatory standards. System Enhancements: Prioritize and manage system enhancements based on feedback from Trade Operations and other stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Documentation & Compliance: Review trade finance documentation and transactions for accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations and internal policies. Policy & Process Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of trade finance policies, SOPs, and best practices, incorporating system capabilities and operational insights. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve operational issues related to trade finance transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with internal departments such as Risk, Compliance, and Operations to ensure seamless transaction processing and system integration. Training & Enablement: Conduct training sessions for internal teams and clients on system usage and trade finance processes, leveraging operational expertise. System Utilization: Use trade finance platforms to monitor, process, and report on transactions, ensuring alignment with operational procedures. Requirements: Education: Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related disciplines. Experience: Minimum 3–6 years of experience, preferably in Trade Operations or Trade Finance, with exposure to system implementation or business analysis. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in project management or system implementation is an advantage. Deep understanding of Trade Finance products (e.g., Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Collections, Open Account, Financing). Familiarity with trade operations workflows and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines. Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven. Strong team player with self-initiative and adaptability.
