ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or other University degree in a related technicalfield as determined by the department
Minimum of 5 years related experience, including:
oKnowledge and experience with technologies to identify solutions to integrate data betweenassigned systems or migrating components to cloud services
oProject management including the coordination of work of others utilizing recognized projectmanagement methodologies (e.g., PMBOK)
oKnowledge and experience in business analysis with ability to understand and document businessprocesses within assigned systems / applications through consultation with Clients / end users
oIn-depth understanding of assigned business areas/processes
oDetailed knowledge and experience with incident / problem tracking, change management, assetmanagement, and project management utilizing ITSM (Information Technology ServiceManagement) applications
Basic Knowledge and experience in client-server technology, object-oriented design, directoryservices, database systems, application development tools, application administration / security,systems documentation, system troubleshooting, and compliance with user accessibilityrequirements
Advanced proficiency in report writing and Microsoft Office 365 application / collaboration tools(including knowledge of SQL)
Knowledge of current IT best practices, technologies, and regulatory/compliance standards such as:
oITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) standard practices
oProgramming documentation/ versioning tools such as GitLab / GitHub
Excellent teamwork, organization, multitasking, analytical, problem solving, decision making,customer service and written/oral communication skills (including the ability to effectivelycommunicate technical concepts to stakeholders)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times

The Business Analyst will contribute to the effectiveness of the academic units and administrative departments by applying project management processes, system analysis, configuration methodologies, solution architecture, and client support skills for the implementation and on-going support of campus systems / applications / processes. This role will lead project teams, collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, and ensure successful execution while maintaining quality and scope. Responsibilities include conducting system analysis, configuring applications, and contributing to data integration architecture. The Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, manage application support, oversee security compliance, and provide team leadership.
