We are seeking:
Business Analyst (One-Year Contract)
The Business Analyst (BA) will work with the Digital Solutions and Support Team within the Project Management Office (PMO) to support workflow standardization and process improvement initiatives and activities. The BA will be embedded in business teams and be able to analyze, document, and evaluate the current and future state of processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the successful implementation of digital transformation projects. This role directly contributes to the optimization of VHA’s operations through effective digital project implementations and enhancements to aid VHA’s homecare specialists and clients with bringing more care home.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role, preferably in healthcare or digital transformation projects.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and workflows.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is considered an asset
Responsibilities

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Conduct detailed assessments and documentation of current workflows and processes within the organization while also recommending potential future state workflows and processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for workflow optimization.
  • Partner with project managers and cross-functional teams to support project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Analyze project objectives and forecasted outcomes to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Act as a liaison between the Digital Transformation team and other organizational units.
