This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 3 years Location: Kolkata JobType: full-time We are looking for a highly analytical and technology-driven Business Analyst with 3–7 years of experience to bridge the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, automation, and process optimization. This role requires hands-on experience with Power BI, Python, SQL, Microsoft Power Automate, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to deliver actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define problem statements, and translate them into data-driven solutions. Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL and Python to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities. Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to enable real-time and strategic insights. Automate business processes and reporting workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and RPA tools to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency. Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, data engineering, finance, operations, and leadership to ensure alignment on business objectives. Document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and data models clearly and effectively. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support performance tracking through analytical reports and dashboards. Support data validation, quality checks, and governance to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights. Identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation using analytics and automation. Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), solution rollout, and end-user training where required. Required Skills & Qualifications 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar analytical role. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development. Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation. Experience with Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation and integration across systems. Exposure to RPA tools (such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar). Strong understanding of business processes, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Exposure to cloud platforms or enterprise systems is a plus.
