This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1000000 - Rs 1800000 (ie INR 10-18 LPA) Min Experience: 4 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time The Business Analyst will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze processes, and translate business needs into well-defined functional specifications. The role involves active collaboration with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives and delivered efficiently. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements. Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Partner with Product, Development, and QA teams to support end-to-end project execution and delivery. Perform gap analysis to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities. Develop use cases, workflows, process flows, wireframes, and data models to support solution design. Conduct data analysis to generate insights that support operational and strategic decision-making. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating business scenarios and ensuring solutions meet defined objectives. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process documents, and user guides. Ensure alignment between business goals, system functionality, and implementation outcomes. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline (MBA preferred). 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within IT or software development environments. Strong understanding of SDLC with hands-on experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, and basic SQL querying. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly. Nice-to-Have Skills Domain experience in BFSI, E-commerce, SaaS, or Fleet Management solutions. Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Familiarity with API documentation, integrations, and system interfaces.
