Job Title: Business Analyst with Banking Domain
Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid)

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst (BA) with strong experience in the Payments domain and deep understanding of Banking and Financial Services. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of payment processing systems with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation. Java knowledge is preferred to effectively collaborate with development teams.

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders in the Payments and Banking domain.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Work closely with product owners, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Document business processes, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze and support the implementation of payment systems like SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, ACH, etc.
• Understand APIs and assist in drafting API specifications and user flows.
• Perform impact analysis, data mapping, and system integration planning.
• Collaborate with development teams, especially Java developers, to ensure accurate delivery of business requirements.
• Participate in UAT and system validation to ensure requirements are met.
• Support production issue analysis and provide business solutions.
