Description

The role of Business Analyst – Data forms a critical part of the delivery team for the development and improvement of With Intelligence data workflows. They will analyse, document, and summarise existing workflows, systems, and data capture/processing capabilities. They will work closely with end users and stakeholders within the Data Teams to reflect how the business operates today and what the target state is. Working within a matrix operating model across Data, Technology, and Product, their focus is to prepare and support requirements in the backlogs of our Data Capture, Data Automation, and Data Enrichment Development Squads. They will be part of the newly formed Data Management Team, reporting into the Head of Data but working closely with other key stakeholders, and supporting the backlog management tasks undertaken by the Product Owners. As improving data workflows is at the heart of the role, a potent blend of core business analyst skills, along with an excellent grasp of data processing and management, is integral to succeeding in this role. As such this role could be a good opportunity for someone looking to move from data operations into a data management or product management role. Alternatively, suitable candidates would have prior BA experience working in a data operations business. Generate and maintain documentation of current data and editorial systems, applications, and workflows Work with stakeholders from Data to document target state for future workflows and enhancements to existing workflows Clearly articulate the business drivers, benefits and desired outcomes of enhancements to enable prioritisation of developments with traceability back to the business impact Draft requirements and prepare user stories, working closely with Data Subject Matter Experts, Product Owner and Technology teams Participate in Agile events including stand-ups, sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement and preparation sessions Undertake data analysis to support decisions and prioritisations around improvements to data workflows Undertake / participate in testing approach, planning, and activity to support development of tools and processes as required, e.g. through creation of User Acceptance Test scenarios and scripts as required Identify stakeholders impacted by change and communicate progress and decisions to ensure expectations are managed and business readiness activities are aligned Actively seek feedback from end-users and stakeholders across the Data and Product teams to improve processes and solutions Set up and coordinate meetings and sessions to support development activity Work closely with developers, to ensure that requirements are understood and met throughout the development lifecycle Previous experience in a Business analyst or equivalent role Good written communication skills Experience of working within an Agile environment Experience of creating data documents and artefacts Team player Positive and proactive Proven ability at stakeholder management Data analysis skills such as SQL, PowerBI etc … (desirable) Comfortable with visualising data and communicating analysis Annual Leave 22 days per calendar year (and all local bank holidays) An additional day off for your birthday Wellness and Care Leave Up to 5 days for self-care or wellness Volunteer Day Share With Scheme Therapy Sessions 50% contribution towards therapy sessions Lunch & Learns Events held throughout the year with educational or informative topics Charity Matching Days matches charity sponsorships Hybrid Working 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home Multisport Card 50% contribution from the employer, 50% from employee State Benefits Pension & health provision Family-friendly policy Office Facilities Contemporary office space Free Onsite gym Address: 51, "Cherni vrah" Blvd, 1407 Sofia, WorkBetter Coworking space Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Refer a Friend referral scheme Hardship Fund Learn With Us our online learning platform
