About WPP Production We are WPP Production - the unified global production company that brings together all of WPP's content producers, studios and craft experts into one connected organisation. We combine world-class human craft with next generation technology to originate, design, and deliver multi-channel content systems at scale. About WPP WPP is the trusted growth partner for the world’s leading brands. We unite cutting-edge media intelligence and data solutions, world-class creativity, next-generation production, transformative enterprise solutions and expert strategic counsel in a single company – powered by exceptional talent and our agentic marketing platform, WPP Open, to help our clients navigate change, capture opportunity and deliver transformational growth. For more information, visit WPP.com. The Role We are not looking for a traditional IT Business Analyst. We are looking for a Creative Operations Analyst who understands the nuance of making content. You will be part detective, uncovering exactly how work gets done today (the "As-Is"), and part engineer, defining how it should get done tomorrow (the "Future-Facing" model). You will work specifically on mapping the "Handshakes" between human creativity & production and our new Agentic AI workforce, translating abstract strategies into executable instructions for our solutions design consultants. Key Responsibilities 1. DISCOVER: Forensic Process Mapping • Evidence-Based Diagnosis: Conduct deep-dive workshops with Producers and Creatives to separate anecdotal pain points from structural causes. You must capture the nuance, the "hidden" steps that aren't written down but are essential to the craft. • Data Gathering: Move beyond opinion. Collect data (asset counts, round-trip cycles, freelance spend) to create a data-backed baseline of the current operation. • Gap Analysis: Identify the friction. Where are approvals stuck? Where is data being manually re-entered? Where is a task being done that an Agent should do? 2. DESIGN: Agentic Workflow Architecture • AIMO (AI Marketing Operations) Design: Translate high-level operating models into detailed, "Pilot-Ready" process maps. • Defining the "Handshake": Map the specific interaction points between people and AI. You will define the "Trigger" (what starts the process) and the "Action" (what the AI agent does), ensuring seamless integration. • BPMN Mastery: Translate complex, messy conversations into clean, standardised Process Maps (BPMN 2.0) that can be understood by both a Chief Marketing Officer and a Software Engineer. 3. DELIVER: Translation & Tech Specifications • Business vs. Technical Requirements: Act as the translator between Client/Strategy leads and the Tech team. You must be able to convert a Business Requirement into a Technical Specification. • Impact Modelling: Work with our data teams to validate the business case. You will map the projected "To-Be" state to illustrate efficiency gains (speed/cost) without sacrificing creative quality. 4. CODIFY: Knowledge Management • The "Codified Library": Ensure that a solution built for a client in London is accessible to a team in Singapore. You will organize and maintain our library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Case Studies, and Process Blueprints. • Documentation: Maintain the "Truth" of our operations. When a process changes or an AI tool is updated, you ensure the documentation reflects the new reality immediately. Requirements • Creative DNA: 3-5 years of experience in Creative Operations, Ad-Tech, or Media Operations. You must know the difference between "Creative Origination" and "Adaptation" and understand the organic nature of creative development. • Process Mapping: Expert proficiency in visualisation tools and standards (BPMN 2.0 preferred). • Tech Fluency: Experience with the production tech stack (from DAMs to Workfront/Adobe) and a strong conceptual understanding of GenAI and Agentic workflows. Skills & Behaviors • Analytical Rigor: The ability to look at a messy, emotional creative process and see the underlying logic (or lack thereof). • Translation: You can speak "Tech" to developers, "Craft" to creatives, and "Business" to stakeholders. • Detail Obsessed: You are the person who spots that a handoff is missing a validation step. You care about the "plumbing" of the operation. • Curiosity: Not just passionate about tech or ops, but a genuine interest in how advertising is made and how AI is changing the landscape. What Success Looks Like • Clarity: A complex "As-Is" ecosystem is mapped into a clear, single-page visual that identifies the bottlenecks. • Execution: A "To-Be" workflow is designed where AI Agents successfully handle routine tasks, validated by a clear "Trigger/Action" map. • Scalability: Your documentation allows a new team to pick up a process and run it without needing to ask, "how do we do this?" #LI-AI1 #LI-Hybrid Why work here: At WPP Production, you’ll help shape the future of content production at a truly global scale. We bring together world-class talent, cutting-edge studios, and advanced technology to solve some of the most complex creative and production challenges in the industry. You’ll work in a collaborative, borderless environment where craft excellence is valued, innovation is encouraged, and AI and next-generation tools are used to amplify not replace human creativity. With access to diverse projects, global career opportunities, and the backing of WPP’s unmatched network, this is a place where you can grow your skills, make real impact, and create work that performs for every audience, across every channel, at every moment. Inclusion and Impact WPP is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without discrimination or regard to particular characteristics.
