At Xtremax, Business Analysts serve as expert communicators who lead discovery for client projects and internal products. The role focuses on information elicitation, requirement gathering, and strategic questioning that identifies root causes and clarifies ambiguous needs. Through structured interviews, workshops, and collaborative sessions, the Business Analyst translates stakeholder input into actionable requirements. This position requires frequent travel to Jakarta, with potential visits to Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand for client engagements and presales support. Responsibilities Lead client discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews using expert elicitation techniques to clarify goals, uncover hidden needs, and validate requirements Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify underlying business problems and separate symptoms from actual issues Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions to drive consensus among business, design, and engineering teams Guide presales conversations with potential clients to understand needs, position solutions, and support proposals Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, adapting communication style as needed Document requirements through BRD/FRD, process flows, and decision logs that accurately reflect stakeholder input Manage change requests through stakeholder consultation, impact analysis, and approval coordination Track risks, assumptions, and dependencies identified during elicitation and surface issues with practical recommendations Bachelor degree from a reputable university in Communication, Business, Information Technology, or related field Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to elicit information from diverse stakeholders High proficiency in English (fluency strongly preferred); Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is a plus Proven experience in client-facing roles requiring information gathering and requirement elicitation such as Business Analyst, Strategy Analyst, Management Consultant, Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Sales Engineer, Presales Consultant, or Market Research Analyst Expertise in elicitation techniques including structured interviews, workshops, active listening, probing questions, and Root Cause Analysis Strong analytical thinking with ability to ask the right questions, identify information gaps, and reframe vague requests into specific needs Confident facilitation and presentation skills with ability to manage conflicting stakeholder views and drive alignment Willingness to travel frequently to Jakarta and occasionally to Singapore, Malaysia, or Thailand; ability to work from office (WFO) in Bandung Familiarity with standard office tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, or Confluence Nice to have: ability to create flowcharts, BPMN, or ERD; experience in FMCG, logistics, supply chain, or healthcare industries
