cBEYONData is seeking a Business Analytics Consultant to support our Army client by designing and developing data models to support financial reporting. Note that this is a full time W2 position.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Secret clearance required
  • 4 year Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on development experience using Databricks.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience coding in PySpark.
  • Experience with developing reports and dashboards in Qlik is a plus.
  • Experience working within Federal Accounting systems.
  • Understand Business Intelligence concepts and ETL methodologies.
  • Experience modeling data from Enterprise ERP’s (SAP preferred).
  • Experience interacting directly with the end users to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and management skills at any organizational level.
  • Project experience with the ability to achieve team objectives/timelines.
  • Ability to be self-directed in the completion of individual work assignments.
  • Prior experience developing native HANA models preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Work with business to understand, analyze, and blueprint business functional needs in the system.
  • Design new solutions using Databricks and Qlik to deliver capabilities meeting business functional requirements.
  • Design modifications to existing data models solutions as needed to meet business functional requirements.
  • Define test cases and verify test results to ensure solutions are functioning as designed.
  • Build data models and reports using datasets from ERP’s and legacy systems.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and users to determine reporting requirements and convert business requirements into technical specs.
