Description:
The Business Analytics Specialist is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to track sales performance, marketing ROI, product adoption rates, and competitive benchmarks. This role plays a critical function in helping Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership make data-driven decisions by providing real-time insights, building custom dashboards, and forecasting market trends.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, proficiency with BI tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, CRM platforms), and experience working with both internal company data and external market data.
This person will work closely with Marketing and Sales teams, delivering reports and insights to HQ in Japan and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or sales/marketing analytics.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, and CRM platforms.
  • Experience working with both internal company data and external market/industry data.
  • Background in forecasting, ROI tracking, and financial modeling is a plus.
  • Understanding of SQL or advanced analytics is preferred but not required.
  • Some travel may be required based on business needs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with SQL, Python, or automation tools for data processing.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics, sales performance tracking, and ROI analysis.
  • Familiarity with GPOs, IDNs, and healthcare reimbursement models is a plus.
  • Experience working in the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industry is preferred but not required.
