In this role, you will leverage your expertise in healthcare administration data to drive actionable insights and improve operational performance for clients. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to analyze complex data sets, develop business requirements, and design effective solutions that support healthcare payer operations. The position requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, balancing analytical rigor with practical recommendations. Accountabilities Collaborate with clients to gather, clarify, and document business requirements related to Medicaid and healthcare administration. Analyze data from healthcare claims, provider management, eligibility, benefits, and contract management to support client decision-making. Develop detailed design documentation for platform modifications or new components that integrate with existing systems. Conduct process analysis and identify opportunities for operational improvements. Participate in client consulting engagements, planning sessions, and requirement-gathering workshops. Validate data quality, identify trends, highlight inconsistencies, and present findings in a clear, actionable format. Assist with QA, application support, and ongoing client implementation needs. Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience working with Healthcare Administration software, ideally including Medicaid-related systems. Proficiency in SQL, Databricks, and/or Snowflake. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and translating business needs into technical solutions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities. Experience working with cross-functional teams and building productive client relationships.
