You develop and implement procedures to improve business operations, perform a range of tasks to ensure productivity and efficiency, including implementing the business strategy, managing risks, budgeting and financial reporting and evaluating performance. You will also support the management team with day-to-day activities. Furthermore, you will assist to maintain governance frameworks and ensure risk controls are in place, in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. YOUR CHALLENGE Business Management: Collaborate with the Head of Global Operations and Corporate Services on the strategic development of the business area, actively supporting the transition the unit is undergoing Manage regular business tasks and requests Support in various Strategic Management related matters, (e.g. optimization of processes) Prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis to facilitate decision-making and supervisory activities Conduct financial budget planning and effective cost controlling and reporting of business unit and/or projects Support senior management related organizational, communication and reporting topics Support global bank initiatives with the focus to improve operational performance, product and service offering Coordination of key initiatives within the unit with a special focus on leading or supporting concrete strategic projects Independent analysis of special topics and issues across COO Operational Risk: Coordinate various elements of the risk management governance within the business unit Preparation and coordination of risk related topics for Management Meetings Support Head Global Operations and Corporate Services and support function heads with the implementation of the risk management framework Ensure Risk Controls are properly maintained and executed by the respective responsible YOUR PROFILE Education, Competencies and Required Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related discipline 3-5 years relevant work experience in a similar role or in business consulting, preferably in an international environment Comfortable working in a high-paced environment, fully dedicated to top results Strong analytical and conceptual skills, high attention to details without losing focus on what really matters Understanding and experience in cost management and controlling is advantageous Proactive ownership of initiatives and ability to drive topics independently Strong problem solving and excellent communication skills Independent, pro-active, efficient, and meticulous work method with a results-oriented mindset Strong sense of integrity and discretion Proficiency in English, German would be a plus We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
