Solena Materials Limited is looking for an Operations and Sales Administrator to support to the management team as and when required. This role is an integral part of the team and ensure that our multi-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers, software developers and Business development professionals who are all from diverse backgrounds are afforded the support to maximise their output in their specific area of expertise.
The role is varied and encompasses many tasks that are not detailed on this job specification, the role genuinely requires a level of enthusiasm and a commitment to sometimes completing tasks that may fall below your pay grade, as part of a growing SME team.
This role reports to the CEO and the Head of Business Development to drive efficiencies in the process and to assist and support the senior scientists with administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the labs and office generally, and to provide general admin support to the Sales team as they focus on developing new opportunities.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be IT literate and proficient in MS products and be IT literate. You will be highly organised.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Excellent communication skills both in the written form and verbally
  • Experience of working in a scientific lab environment, aware of the health and safety requirements
  • At least intermediate experience of MS office products.
  • Experience of working across multi disciplines including a sales environment
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to multi task and work closely with various departments to understand and facilitate their needs.
  • Experience of business administration.
  • Familiarity with global markets and cultures is a plus, as the role involves coordinating a team covering various regions as we reach out to clients globally.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mind set, capable of working closely with sales, production and other departments as required.
  • Must be highly IT literate
  • Focussed on customer satisfaction with a can-do attitude.
  • An interest in sustainability is a strong preference.
