Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is a world-famous brand with offices across the globe. Within Fender Musical Instruments Corporation’s ("FMIC") Product Information Management team supporting the Precisely® EnterWorks® product information management system. The Business Application Analyst reports to the PIM Team Lead.
An American icon, Fender was born in Southern California and has built a worldwide influence extending beyond the studio and the stage. A Fender is more than an instrument, it’s a cultural symbol that resonates globally.
We are searching for a Business Application Analyst II. This position will contain all responsibilities of the Business Application Analyst I but with additional responsibilities including the administration of one or more repositories in the EnterWorks environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive knowledge of all FMIC branded product lines to satisfy quality assurance goals and
  • Prior experience with product information management systems is required (Precisely® EnterWorks® preferred) – data consolidation, workflows and data syndication.
  • Prior experience with relational databases and MDM best practices.
  • Self-motivated leader with strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a drive to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Possess and demonstrate working knowledge of Excel and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and InDesign). Experience with project management tools like JIRA or Trello are a plus
  • Experience with digital asset management systems is necessary.
  • Knowledge of SQL is necessary. Python and Java knowledge are a plus.
Responsibilities

Administration and Quality Assurance:

  • Make decisions on how best to route the flow of data through one or more repositories with extensive documentation on how to best use and serve repository information.
  • Determine how the flow of information is disseminated throughout the company and external stakeholders. Continue to refine best practice workflow for product information data entry.
  • Prepare and control the launch of product data on FMIC web sites. Reconcile discrepancies to maintain quality of product information.
  • Establish and maintain communication with all PIM power users to provide support and derive improvements based on user experience.

Support/Training:

  • Support and provide training to junior team members and business stakeholders for managing product data in the EnterWorks system.
  • Training on desktop publishing capabilities utilizing Adobe InDesign.
  • Develop/maintain business rules in EnterWorks system.
  • Develop new functionality to expand the use of the EnterWorks system to other departments of FMIC and training of those new users.

System Maintenance

  • Maintain the functionality of the EnterWorks system using server-based maintenance within the AWS framework.
  • Monitor all system processes and author fully or semi-automated processes and troubleshoot remediation steps.
  • Creation and administration of code sets, taxonomies, and hierarchies
