Job Responsibilities: As a Business Application Specialist, you will play a critical, hands-on role in supporting, configuring, and enhancing JT’s core business systems. You will help maintain and optimize our ERP, HRS, CRM, and other operational platforms by configuring systems, troubleshooting issues, supporting end users, and implementing improvements to streamline workflows and strengthen business operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, translating business needs into system functionality, and working collaboratively across teams. System Support & Administration Configure, maintain, and support core applications such as Unanet AE (ERP), Paylocity (HRS), Unanet CRM by Cosential (CRM), and related cloud platforms Maintain data quality through audits, cleanup efforts, and continuous integrity checks Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, perform root cause analysis, and support end users Support upgrades, testing, validation, and release management Develop and deploy system configurations, custom fields, workflows, and reports as needs evolve Reporting & Analytics Support JT’s Power BI and Data Lake environment, including data connectivity, refresh schedules, gateway reliability, and dashboard validation Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations that turn data into clear operational insights Enhancements & Collaboration Assist with the implementation of new modules, features, integrations, and system enhancements Work with end users and department leaders to gather requirements and design practical system updates Document configurations, workflows, and changes to ensure long-term governance Collaborate with vendors and technical partners when specialized expertise is required Process Improvement Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend system-based solutions to improve operational effectiveness Support ongoing improvement of JT’s digital tools to strengthen employee experience and business operations Additional Responsibilities Stay informed on emerging cloud-based technologies, application best practices, and AI-enabled capabilities within JT’s core platforms, proactively identifying opportunities to apply AI and automation to advance systems, improve processes, and enhance operational efficiency Support special projects and corporate initiatives as assigned Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience 3-5+ years of experience in application administration, configuration, or support (ERP/HCM/CRM experience preferred) Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Adaptability to new tools, technologies, and evolving business needs Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S Occasional travel for professional development or project needs Life at JT: The Benefits and Perks At JT, we offer more than just a job - we provide a thriving workplace culture and exceptional benefits.
