JOB SUMMARY

We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Applications Developer to design, develop, and maintain business applications that drive efficiency and innovation across our organization. This role requires a strong technical background, the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions, and experience with continuous improvement principles to optimize processes and workflows.
The ideal candidate will have experience building solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, HTML/JavaScript, SQL, Proficiency in Azure services, and API Management. The role involves close collaboration with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure applications align with business goals and deliver measurable value.

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical Expertise: Strong programming knowledge, including Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, HTML/JavaScript, SQL, and Proficiency in Azure services.
• Office 365 service management experience to understand SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams architectures for development
• API Integration: Experience in calling, consuming, integrating, and managing APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze business challenges and develop creative, effective solutions.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile project management and iterative development.
• Communication & Documentation: Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to document processes and solutions clearly.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to develop precise, high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in business application development, preferably using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
• Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment and applying Lean principles to digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with increasing responsibilities.
• Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform, Lean Manufacturing certification.

• Application Development: Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain business applications.
• Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience applying them to business process improvements through digital solutions.
• Software Evaluation: Assess new software solutions and recommend improvements.
• Quality & Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance application performance, ensuring efficiency and security.
• Documentation: Maintain clear, concise, and up-to-date documentation of development projects, system configurations, and business processes.
• User Training & Support: Assist in training end users and provide ongoing technical support.
• Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify and address business process inefficiencies through technology solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Applications Analyst and Business Intelligence Developer to maintain seamless system functionality.
• Communication: Clearly and regularly communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions to the team and management.
• Agile Development: Apply Agile methodologies for project execution and continuous improvement.
