The role of the Department of Education is to support Victorians to build prosperous, socially engaged, happy and healthy lives. It does this by supporting lifelong learning and healthy development, strengthening families and helping to equip people with the skills and knowledge for a 21st century economy and society.

The Business Architect plays a key leadership role in shaping and aligning business capabilities, operating models, and investment roadmaps with the department’s strategic objectives. You will develop business capability models, define current and target operating states, and identify transformation opportunities that support Victoria’s K-12 education system. This role works closely with enterprise architecture, program teams, and stakeholders to ensure business and technology initiatives are effectively integrated and aligned.
