Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Business Architect to support KTS and our government customer. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a Remote Opportunity.

Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a talented Business Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for understanding user needs. Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance to support KGS and our government customer. This position is Remote.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Planning and Analysis Experience.
  • Proven experience in conducting user research and analyzing data.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Definition, implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the Business Architecture.
  • Maintenance of the key Business Architecture deliverables.
  • Establishment and maintenance of contacts within business units and information system programs to understand business processes and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies, alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented.
  • Business Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues.
  • On-going publicity and communication of the Business Architecture both within the information systems community and the Business unit.
  • Ongoing research and assessment of new technology for potential use within the Business unit.
  • Development of the Business Architecture.
  • Coordinating all Business Architecture activities globally (Chief Business Architect).
  • Developing and Coordinating Business Architecture Plans.
  • Auditing compliance within the Business Architecture standards.
  • Serving as an advisor to senior business management on business information integration strategies.

DESIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge of usability principles and best practices.
  • Experience working in a government or federal IT environment.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Human centric experience design skills.
  • Agile Certification(s)

Responsibilities:

The Business Arechitect will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting user requirements to support the development of user-centric solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to elicit and analyze business and user requirements.
  • Conducting user research activities, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to understand user behavior and preferences.
  • Documenting findings and creating user stories, personas, and journey maps to guide product development.
  • Providing insights and recommendations based on user research to improve product features and functionality.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between user needs and business goals.
  • Facilitating communication between technical teams and end-users to ensure successful project delivery.
