Description Arthur State Bank is seeking a Business Banker to develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships within our local markets. This role focuses on delivering relationship-based financial solutions—including deposits, digital banking, and business lending—while maintaining strong credit quality and providing exceptional client service. The Business Banker serves as a trusted financial partner to local businesses, actively sourcing new relationships, expanding existing client relationships, and supporting the Bank’s mission of strengthening the communities we serve. Requirements Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships Originate and structure credit facilities, including lines of credit, term loans, mortgages, HELOCs, and other commercial and C&I loans Drive deposit growth, fee income, and full-relationship banking across assigned clients Proactively call on prospective clients and centers of influence to generate new business opportunities Build strong relationships with local businesses through consultative conversations and ongoing engagement Identify client needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services Partner with internal teams, including credit analysts and underwriters, to prepare and present credit requests Monitor credit quality, including past-due loans, financial reporting, covenant compliance, and loan exceptions Ensure all activities comply with Arthur State Bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements Maintain accurate and complete loan documentation and portfolio records Participate in community involvement, networking, and business development activities to enhance the Bank’s local presence Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, industry trends, and competitive offerings Deliver prompt, professional, and responsive service consistent with Arthur State Bank’s customer-focused values Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience Three or more years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, or related financial services preferred Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing long-term client relationships Working knowledge of commercial credit analysis and loan structuring Ability to analyze business financial statements, tax returns, and cash-flow projections Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
