As an origination banker in the specialised Commercial Broker team, you will deal exclusively with commercially accredited brokers. Your focus will be proactively acquiring new Business Banking customers introduced to you via this network of brokers. Strong business development and relationship skills are central to the role, as you will be responsible for fostering and growing relationships with new and existing brokers. You will be committed to delivering on our customer promise and service standards to create an unrivalled broker and customer experience.
Your ability to deliver is backed by a market leading lending proposition and a delegated credit authority enabling superior speed to market and a distinct ability to execute. In addition to delivering on lending needs you will be passionate about and focussed on bringing the best of Nab to our customers by becoming their bank of choice. Backed by market leading products you will meet their personal and business banking needs by engaging with customers via quality conversations throughout the application process.
Your role will be focused on delivering on all aspects of the customers’ needs to settlement. This includes collaborating with brokers to workshop new transactions, process customer applications, approvals and settlements, as well as establishing new products and services. Once onboarded you will transfer customers to a team of relationship bankers, who are also part of the specialised Commercial Broker Team and are dedicated to managing day to day needs of these clients, allowing you to focus your days on your broker network, origination, and onboarding.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly engaging and educating your broker network to promote Nabs market leading proposition, products and services via proactive calling and face to face meetings
- Identify and promote products and services exclusively to small business customers introduced by premium brokers.
- Deal vetting, and workshopping new lending scenarios for customers with brokers
- Working with a team of highly engaged associates to deliver on lending applications and customer banking needs
- Managing all aspects of loan origination including application, approval, and settlement with the support of your dedicated associate team
- Create Broker loyalty and repeat business through delivery on Commercial Broker Service Standards for brokers and customers
