JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Banking Officer/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with business clients, providing tailored financial solutions, and driving business growth. This role requires a strong understanding of banking products, risk management, and market trends to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and corporate clients.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Years of experience in business banking, corporate banking, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of business banking products and services.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in banking regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with business banking clients, understand their financial needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Promote and cross-sell business banking products, including loans, trade finance, treasury services, deposits, and cash management solutions.
  • Assess creditworthiness and prepare credit proposals for business clients in line with bank policies.
  • Monitor and manage portfolio performance, ensuring minimal risk exposure and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams (credit, risk, operations) to facilitate smooth service delivery.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through client acquisition and retention.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide strategic insights.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and address client concerns promptly.
