Responsibilities:
- Create detailed, evidence-based business cases aligned with Ontario Northland’s goals.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis, risk assessments, and economic evaluations.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to align business cases with organizational objectives.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback into deliverables.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure the business case is actionable and practical.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA is an asset.
- 5+ years of experience in business case development or strategic planning.
- Expertise in financial modeling, economic analysis, and strategic planning.
- Experience working with public sector organizations or transportation agencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in tools like Excel, Tableau, or similar software for financial and data analysis.

- Provide insights and recommendations for specific business case projects or sections as needed.
Responsibilities of the Consultant
Business Case Development:
- Strategic assessments.

Completion of Existing Business Cases: Review and finalize cases in progress to align with Ontario Northland’s objectives and standards.
