Description
1. Resilience Planning and Key Business Services Drive Business Continuity Planning program requirements by providing guidance and direction to Business Unit stakeholders to ensure their Business Continuity Plans are in accordance with the Firm's Business Continuity Management Policy and Procedures Ensure Business Unit Business Continuity Plans are updated, tested and signed off in accordance with the Firm's Business Continuity Management Policy Perform enhanced quality assurance of Business Continuity Plans on an ongoing basis and document findings for Business Unit stakeholders Provide Business Continuity Planning tool training as required Involve in the change-the-bank resilience initiatives such as implementation of strategic resilience tooling changes Provide subject matter expertise advice to the Business Units on business continuity and operational resilience program framework Maintain direct communications via monthly Business Unit planning meetings and activities Assist the business in enhancing, formalizing, and standardizing the business continuity planning process Coordinate periodic reviews and tests of established plans and procedures, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvements as needed Actively drive and support local, regional, and global managed projects as required Interact with country management to provide guidance, coordination, and support during a disruptive event, including escalation, communication and documenting lessons learned Coordinate monthly reporting collation and distribution for program governance and monitoring purposes Support regulatory exams and documentations of Business Continuity including Key Business Services and Critical Business Services for Japan Coordinate periodic tests of established Business Continuity plans and procedures Support, facilitate and participate in internal and external tabletop exercises At least 4 years in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Risk Management or related discipline Business level English and native or equivalent level of Japanese fluency (read, write, verbal) is required Understanding of existing and emerging regulatory requirements on the financial sector regarding Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Understanding of industry best practices pertaining to Business Continuity Planning, Operational Resilience and Testing Ability to manage and analyze a large set of data. Responsibilities
The Business Continuity Resilience Associate will drive the Business Continuity Planning program by guiding Business Unit stakeholders and ensuring compliance with the Firm's policies. They will also coordinate reviews, tests of plans, and support during disruptive events.
