Key responsibilities: Strengthen Allianz Direct's resilience by establishing and maintaining robust business continuity frameworks that safeguard critical operations against disruptions. Foster a proactive culture of risk awareness and preparedness, ensuring the organization is equipped to recover from potential threats to critical assets. Serve as a strategic partner across departments to embed continuity practices into the organization's core processes and strategic initiatives. Product Strategy and Development: Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical processes and dependencies in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISO 22301) and regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA). Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans and recovery procedures. Coordinate and lead business continuity testing and exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of plans and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of business continuity strategies with organizational goals. Monitor and report on the status of business continuity initiatives, providing recommendations for enhancements as needed. Understand and develop contingency strategies for critical third-party vendors, including technical solutions such as data redundancy and multi-vendor strategies. Provide training and awareness programs to employees, ensuring understanding and engagement in business continuity practices. Stay informed of industry best practices, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements related to business continuity management. Qualifications/Key skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a science-related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity management and risk management. Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices related to business continuity management. Experience in developing contingency strategies for third-party vendors, including technical solutions. Solid knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, with the ability to assess their impact on business continuity planning. Experience in working in an international and highly regulated environment, ideally within the financial services sector. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. ⁠Proficiency in professional business communication in English. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments, stakeholders of different seniority, and with external partners. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage changes with a positive attitude, including actively proposing improvements. Professional certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., ISO 22301, CBCP, MBCI) is highly desirable.
