Description

Your Role This is an excellent opportunity to join our Media Group at PCCW. We are currently seeking a motivated professional with legal background to collaborate with our business teams in supporting strategic initiatives and business growth. Other responsibilities include: Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements in relation to the acquisition, production and distribution of content, event organization, artist management as well as sales and marketing activities; Provide legal advice to business teams on media and entertainment matters, both domestic and international; Develop rapport with internal business units and supporting functions and be aware of their business objectives and needs; Carry out other commercial and legal related duties in alignment with strategic business plans and directions as determined by management; and Work closely with the Group Legal Team to ensure compliance with the relevant rules and regulations as well as corporate governance. To Succed in this Role A University degree in relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications; A qualified lawyer with 4-6 years of post-qualification legal experience; General commercial legal experience. Familiar with IP and media & entertainment matters is an advantage; Good negotiating and problem-solving skills, solution oriented; Good business acumen; Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels and different business units/supporting functions; and Able to work with minimal supervision, well–developed organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to work under time pressure and be pro-active with positive attitude.
