ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Business Controller within Sony UKTEC, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial controls. You will provide insightful analysis and reporting, working closely with operational teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls, enabling the business to achieve its financial and operational goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, analyse, and present detailed financial reports, highlighting variances, trends, and opportunities to management.
• Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts aligned with manufacturing operations and business objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify risks and improvement areas.
• Partner with production, supply chain, and other departments to understand operational drivers and translate them into financial outcomes.
• Drive cost control initiatives and support continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
• Lead month-end and year-end financial close activities, including inventory reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business cases, capital projects, and strategic initiatives.
