About the Role We are looking for a Business Controller / Business Analyst to strengthen our finance function at Caljan’s global headquarter in Hasselager, Aarhus. The position is suitable for candidates with 2–5 years of experience, but recent graduates with relevant student jobs, strong analytical skills, and the right mindset are also encouraged to apply. Experience is less important than motivation, curiosity, and the ability to translate data into valuable business insights. You will be part of a local finance team of six people and report directly to the Finance Business Manager. Key Responsibilities Business Support, Controlling & Systems Work closely with management to support decision-making through financial insights and analysis Drive budgeting, forecasting, project analysis, and ad hoc business cases Build strong relationships across the organization to ensure collaboration and alignment Develop financial dashboards to ensure consistent performance tracking and a shared understanding of KPIs (“one version of the truth”), including implementation and training Participate actively in the implementation and continuous optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Develop and improve processes, data structures, and reporting Create, maintain, and further develop Power BI reports and dashboards, including backend data modelling and development Perform analyses and define guidelines for quoting/pricing Support improved cost control and data-driven decision-making at both individual and team level Support pricing of spare parts and hourly rates based on financial analysis and business understanding Your Profile Master’s degree in finance, e.g. cand.merc. in Management Accounting and Control, Business Intelligence, IT, or similar 2–5 years of experience as a Business Controller, Finance Analyst, Finance Business Partner, or similar (not required, but an advantage) Strong technical interest and understanding of financial systems and data Advanced user of Microsoft Office and Power BI Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a strong advantage Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken Strong collaboration skills and ability to build trust across the organization Structured, analytical, and proactive with a hands-on approach What We Offer A key role in a global industrial company undergoing system and process transformation A high level of responsibility and influence from day one Close collaboration with both the finance function and the wider business A professional yet informal work culture with a strong focus on teamwork A modern finance function with strong ambitions for data-driven decision-making
