Description

We are looking for a skilled Business Controller to take ownership of labour cost controlling and HR-related financial processes across our Nordic & Baltic operations. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring accurate cost analysis, budgeting, and reporting, helping drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across our businesses.
You will work closely with HR Operations, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and the Planning, Budget, and Controlling (PBC) team, supporting business units in Denmark, Norway, and smaller subsidiaries across the region.

As a Business Controller, you will bridge HR, Finance, and the business units, ensuring strong financial oversight and transparency in labour-related costs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Labour Cost Controlling & Reporting – Drive financial analysis of HR-related costs, ensuring accurate and insightful reporting that supports business needs.
  • HR Budget Management – Oversee budgeting and forecasting of headcount (HC/FTE), cost of labor, and other financial elements related to workforce planning.
  • Monthly Cost Reporting – Develop and maintain regular cost reports to track expenses, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Business Support & Analysis – Provide financial insights and recommendations to HR and business leaders, helping to optimize workforce-related investments.
  • Process Optimization – Enhance HR master data quality to improve automation and digitalization of reporting processes.

YOUR BACKGROUND & SKILLS

You are either a recent graduate with a relevant university degree, such as a Cand.Merc. in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or you bring a few years of experience in a similar role as a Business Controller or Business Partner. Experience within HR Controlling or workforce-related financial analysis is an advantage. You thrive in dynamic environments where you can develop processes, analyze data, and communicate insights to stakeholders.

Additionally, you have:

  • A high level of proficiency in English and the ability to work across cultural and linguistic boundaries while building strong professional networks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to engage and inspire project partners.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage.
