• Proven experience as a manager in business controlling and 4+ years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Power BI and other relevant tools.
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or economics.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken – German skills are considered a plus.

Experience within the retail field is considered an advantage.
Work location: Brande
Travel activity: approximately 40 days a year.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all local Business Controllers across various countries and markets, ensuring consistency and excellence in our financial operations.

YOUR ROLE

As a Business Controller, you ensure productivity and operational excellence through collaboration with various managers. Monthly meetings with Retail Managers and Retail Directors focus on driving productivity, setting targets, and implementing actions. Interaction with Local Business Controllers includes overseeing stock planning, providing leadership, and monitoring gross profit. Collaboration with Area Managers on loss prevention, stock take procedures, and budget planning safeguards assets and ensures accurate reporting.These collaborative efforts are key to achieving business objectives and organizational success.

Furthermore, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Controlling: Detailed controlling and follow-up on the monthly P&L at both global and country levels.
• Optimization: Proactively seek gains in the P&Ls to optimize profit in collaboration with local Business Controllers.
• Profitability: Increase profitability through cost optimization and reduced business risk.
• Power BI Integration: Develop and analyze Power BI reports to ensure clarity and ease of use for local Business Controllers.
• Best In Class: Implement “Best-In-Class” practices across countries using benchmarks, KPIs, and business cases.
