About the Role: Are you a hardworking and professional individual? Would you like to contribute to managing change and uncertainty in the team? The Business Support Services division of Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug Services (MHJHADS) is seeking an experienced Business Coordinator to join the team on a temporary basis. This position reports to the Executive Director, through the Business Manager, and works closely with other senior leadership teams, including the Clinical Executive Directors across Canberra Health Services. The successful candidate will coordinate correspondence on behalf of the division in matters relating to the Human Rights Commission, consumer feedback and engagement, and industrial and stakeholder consultation. In addition, the role will involve undertaking research and project work on operational, administrative, and strategic matters on behalf of the Executive Director and Business Manager. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge of, and compliance with, legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to team objectives for short-term tasks, as well as support strategic planning for longer-term initiatives. They will be capable of working independently and effectively liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive consumer outcomes.
