Tenei turanga - About the Role:
The Business Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support across the Intellectual Property Office.
You would be part of the Business Delivery Team, which provides expertise, analysis, and advice across the branch to support the planning, monitoring, and delivery of priorities with a focus on continuous improvement.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Solid administrative and coordination experience.
• The ability to quickly establish and build strong and trusted working relationships.
• The ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and prioritise in response to changes in priorities.
• Experience working with the Official information act(highly desirable but not essential)
• Sound understanding of the mechanics of GovernmentA proactive, customer focused working style and the initiative to get things done
• Confident with technology, including Microsoft Office and the ability to work in business systems such as FMIS, CAMMS, and Nexus
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Support the IPONZ Managers with diary management and juggling priorities
• Organise travel and accommodation, team meetings and events, and branch webinars
• Business management coordination and supporting the IPONZ Business Advisor with, including but not limited to, business continuity planning, risk management, OIA reporting, compulsory modules reporting,
• Preparation, scheduling and minuting of Team Meetings across IPONZ, external Stakeholder meetings and other appointments as necessary.
• Provide back up support to the EA to GM of Business and Consumer
