Appleʼs Strategic Data Solutions (SDS) team leads efforts to mitigate fraud, waste and abuse across Appleʼs various lines of business. The team has an immediate opening for a talented analyst who is interested in working closely with SDSD & partner teams; understanding their processes and analytic needs; and developing technical solutions that can drive significant impact that benefits Apple. As a Business/Data Analyst, you will serve as an analytics expert by analyzing data in order to make better business decisions, enabling Apple to become more sophisticated in our approach to managing product quality, policy enforcement and risk. You will be responsible for translating data into meaningful interpretations and recommendations and develop presentations to inform and influence SDS org, including cross-functional stakeholders in Engineering and other areas. DESCRIPTION - Support discovery of fraud, waste & abuse - Perform data discovery and build proof of concepts - Gather relevant data to conduct business analysis and provide recommendations - Perform ad-hoc and re-occurring analyses - Assist Legal and Security teams with their investigations - Understand Apple’s product policy enforcement and risk strategy in order to effectively tailor data analysis and recommendations - Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders - Use your business acumen and industry knowledge to develop and deliver Competitive Intelligence and Business Analytics - Collaborates extensively with business partners and SDS teams on high priority business problems MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS or experience performing statistical data analysis in a business environment Distinctive problem solving and analytic skills with a high degree of analytical rigor Ability to collect and assimilate data from multiple sources Excellent communication skills. Technical capabilities: Strong SQL skills; Query optimization, Python Strong organizational and project management skills, including excellent presentation development with strong written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to network Ability to work independently
