QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field. Equivalent industry experience or certifications will also be considered.
• SQL Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL including query writing, database design, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex problems and deliver effective solutions.
• Effective Communication: Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project & Time Management: Proven track record in managing and delivering projects on time.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

While not required, familiarity with the following will be advantageous:

• Programming languages such as VBA and Python.
• Power BI for advanced data modelling and visualisation within Verity, with plans to further develop the system in the future.
• Database administration including user access management and security.
• ITSM tools and ERP systems for data integration and reporting.
• Experience with GainSeeker or a similar Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality management platform.

As a member of the Digital Services team, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining and optimising key systems, databases and applications. Your responsibilities will include:
