HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE: 3 DAYS ON-SITE AT READING CORPORATE OFFICE, 2 DAYS REMOTE

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar.
• 3-6+ years experience as an analyst or accountant in medium/large sized company, manufacturing/service a plus.
• Must be able to problem solve and analyze financial data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Power BI) and ERP/CRM systems (SAP/BaaN/Sales Force)
• Knowledge of SQL is preferred but not required.
• Strong business orientated hands-on analyst.
• Good understanding of accounting concepts.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical/logical mindset.
• Ability to identify solutions to complex issues.
• Able to present both numerical and written work professionally.
• Strong project management skills.
  Job Location: Reading, Pennsylvania/Full-Time/Hybrid (2 days work from home/3 days at Reading Corporate office)

JOB PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the finalization and reporting of the MP Line of Business in Americas Finance with a focus on forecast, budget and cost. This role also supports the Motive Power Service division which includes service, maintenance and rental of Motive Batteries as well as the sale of used batteries in the USA. This position will work onsite at the Reading, PA. Corporate office three days a week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Close the General Ledger (BAAN/SAP) and prepare the accounts for the MP service business.
• Transfer the Data from the BAAN GL to Access database to ensure that the Access reports are reconciled/properly prepared.
• Act as the point of contact for accounting questions from the field.
• Assist the LOB team in preparing a monthly forecast and Annual Budget.
• Monitor the inventory of spare parts; used equipment and rental fleet.
• Be a trusted partner to assist the Business in understanding their costs and helping them to grow profitably.
• Enhance or create new models to assist in reporting.
• Work closely with the America’s finance team to ensure accurate month end reporting for all business units.
• Project work including revamping the current P&L process, building out forecasting tools and implementing new reporting.
