Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Decision Support Analyst provides financial and operational analysis, to assist in business decisions, as requested by all levels of management throughout the organization, Utilizing Performance Analytics tools and other available systems, the Decision Support Analyst will prepare reports to measure and trend key performance metrics and present results in an analytical manner.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the Healthcare Industry a plus
- Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate ability to analyze large amounts of data, and present a meaningful format
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills required
- Experience with Microsoft Access, SQL, or other Business Intelligence tools a plus
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Math or related field.
- 2 years of experience in Healthcare Finance is a plus.
- Occasional evening or weekend work as required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Must be US Citizen and possess favorably adjudicated tier 1 security investigation.

Responsibilities:
- Ongoing preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports, delivered within specified reporting period
- Provides key monthly membership and enrollment fee volumes in a timely manner, to support month end close package
- Responsible for development of ongoing reports to support new corporate initiatives, ensuring standardization of criteria across all facilities, efficiency of report design, and complete documentation of process, to facilitate routine updates
- Responsible for preparation of ad hoc requests, according to specified criteria and timelines, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
- Assists with data integrity analyses to ensure accuracy of data within the decision support data warehouse, by auditing results to source system
This position reports to the Manager of Decision Support/Business Intelligence, and will work closely with other members of the Finance-Decision Support/Business Intelligence team.
