Experience Level: Minimum 2 years in business development, preferably in IT/software industry.
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT/software or related sectors and at least two years of experience driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong client relationships.
As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for driving sales initiatives, understanding market trends, and identifying new opportunities to grow our business. You should be adept at creating and maintaining strong customer relationships and effectively collaborating with internal teams to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT software market.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations and close business deals.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure the alignment of business development strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver effective proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the IT/software industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT software solutions and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
