We are recruiting a Business Developer to represent one of our clients, a multinational consumer goods and personal care corporation that primarily produces paper-based consumer products.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in Sales / Business Development
  • Full Irish B driving licence
  • Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team
  • Experience with Shoplink ordering
  • Pervious convenience store sales experience
Responsibilities
  • Drive area sales performance to achieve volume and market share growth
  • Achieve all key trade performance indicators including volume, product distribution, promotional execution, asset placement etc
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
  • Develop and use sound commercial and financial understanding of business to generate business proposals and solutions.
  • To maintain regular calls into stores in accordance with the current journey schedule. The Field Sales Manager will assign the schedule.
  • To monitor condition of all Client products both within the store and stockroom, ensuring that any non-functioning or damaged product is removed from sale. In all outlets full details should be discussed with the relevant store personnel, where problems are identified they should be communicated to the supervisor.
  • Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
  • Plan/carry out/support marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales e.g., product launches, promotions.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
  • Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements and field activity.
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
